Hoolux's proprietary biometric technology anonymously detects patients' demographics, and searches its library for appropriate, entertaining and informative content. The sleek housing is made of polished acrylic, contrasted with black brushed copper. As a result the HLX1 is light, but robust. There were no compromises made on ports, making set-up a cinch. Simply plug in the power, and connect it to the Internet and your TV. Switch it on and register. That’s it! The device will do the rest.
A Digital (Self-Updating) Powerhouse
The heart of the HLX1 is the quad-core A9 processor that anonymously detects the age and gender of waiting patients, and serves them highly relevant healthcare content in real time. The HLX1 can process up to 20 people within a range of 20’, sequentially playing content of relevance to each person. The room is scanned 6 times a second, and our cloud-based library is regularly expanded too. In other words your device is ALWAYS up to date, with no maintenance required.
Biometric Targeting
HLX1's biometric software gathers real-time, anonymous data about your patients while they wait. This information is used to search Hoolux's content library for, and instantly play, content of interest (and medical importance) to each individual. The system is both highly accurate, and highly secure: no trace of identifying data is stored or transmitted, so your patients maintain the level of confidentiality they expect in a medical setting.

The content played through the HLX1 is determined by your actual waiting-room’s demographics, giving unprecedented targeting capabilities. Let's say a young man is waiting for a consultation with his orthopedist. Based on the specialty and the gender and age of the patient, the HLX1 chooses to play him content on managing and avoiding sports injuries. Now say that sitting next to him is a 70-year-old woman. Again based on specialty, gender and age, the HLX1 plays her a feature on managing a replacement hip, specifically tailored to an older audience.

The HLX1 is 100% HIPAA compliant. All biometric data are temporary and anonymized. They exist only within a secure ecosystem that cannot be accessed, replicated or otherwise tampered with by any external source.
